SANCTUARY RENOVATION COMPLETE!
Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything,
by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
(Philippians 4:6)
For almost 7 years we have reported on the renovation and expansion of the Good Samaritan campus. In 2001 we began with the renovation of Walton Hall and since then we have, in some form or fashion, been busy changing the face of our worship facility here at Good Sam. With the completion of the Sanctuary being the final component of a Master Plan developed all the way back in 1999, I would respectfully suggest that the word “transition” be removed from our corporate vocabulary (at least for a short while!!).
While it is true that we have finally moved beyond the construction phase of our campus facelift, our work does not end…In place of the Construction Update we will transition (oops there’s that word) to a Facility Update in order to provide timely and important information regarding the upkeep, maintenance and proposed improvements necessary to ensure that the Good Samaritan campus continues to represent our desire and call to honor and glorify God.
Finally, now that the face of Good Samaritan has been effectively changed through our corporate transition, perhaps it’s appropriate to now challenge each other to look to change hearts through transformation. That’s a construction project that lasts a lifetime…
Faithfully,
Jeff Moretzsohn
