Core Groups are small communities of youth of the same gender, with at least two leaders, that study the Bible, pray, have fun, build relationships, and grow together in leadership and service.

This winter most of our Core Groups will be studying the book of James, and looking at practical ways our faith affects our conversation, our actions, and our attitudes. Other groups will be doing selected studies of their choice.

Groups have fun together on Sunday mornings, but they also plan outings and service projects together. In the past few months, groups have baked apple pies for parish shut-ins, provided free babysitting for church families, rung bells for the Salvation Army, made gingerbread houses together, and held group movie nights.
