This fall we’re going to be looking at the story of Moses in the book of Exodus. Over ten weeks we’ll journey with Moses out of slavery in Egypt, across the Red Sea and towards freedom in the Promised Land (which of course he never saw). There are so many stories that of course we’ll only be cherry-picking a few highlights.

The book of Romans was the leaping off point for both Saint Augustine (whose conversion depended on reading a verse at the end of chapter 13) and Martin Luther, the Reformer (whose came to understand the phrase 'the Righteousness of God' as no longer a terrible word of condemnation but as a life-giving word of grace). It is perhaps the most studied and pored over of all St Paul's letters.
